Objective
Huboo supports online businesses by handling all their eCommerce order fulfilment needs. By taking care of logistics, Huboo empowers brands, fuels growth, and helps businesses achieve their ambitions. Huboo tasked us with creating a digital marketing campaign to attract candidates for their fulfilment centres. While the initial approach seemed straightforward, the competitive landscape across traditional digital channels made it clear that a more innovative strategy was needed. We decided to take a bold approach: leveraging audio-based advertising. Recruit qualified staff for Huboo’s fulfilment centres using a fresh, engaging, and highly targeted digital approach.
Approach
After carefully evaluating the task and considering the saturation of traditional channels like Facebook, Instagram, and Search — combined with current staffing challenges in the UK — we concluded that a conventional approach would likely deliver only average results. This was consistent with the difficulties Huboo had already experienced using standard recruitment platforms and methods.
Targeting a mix of young career starters, we recommended a bolder, more engaging approach: Spotify Ads and bespoke audio ads. This format allowed the brand to communicate more effectively, reaching the right audience with a compelling message.
Working closely with the Huboo team, we developed a 74-word audio script highlighting the work environment, company culture, career progression, and employee benefits, ending with a strong call-to-action. The ad was paired with a unique, mobile-friendly landing page to capture candidate interest efficiently.
This tightly targeted, highly engaging audio campaign delivered strong qualitative KPIs and impressive results, outlined below.
Result
This campaign became Huboo’s most successful recruitment effort to date. They are now adopting this approach as part of their ongoing strategy. The results speak for themselves: a high number of applicant conversions at a significantly lower cost, while also bringing the brand closer to candidates through the engaging power of audio.
